Classroom Assessment

Assessments are most useful when they focus on informing instruction, not grades. Involve your students in the process. Utilize assessments as motivational tools, not confidence crushers. Move beyond the mentality of using assessments to herald the end of an instructional segment. Allow assessments to uncover new avenues for exploration—for yourself and your students.
